Corbin’s Y-R-8-H Hollywood Solo Seat is made specifically for Yamaha Raider (2008-2017).

Features:

Measurements: Rider Seating: 14″ wide x 15″ long
Corbin Hollywood Solo for Yamaha Raider.
Installation: Hollywood Solo installs on your bike like the stock seat. Just slide the seat into position rear first to engage the tongue into the fender bracket. Lower the nose of the seat into place to engage with stock key lock.

When new, the rubber bumpers are stiff and it may require a little effort to get the seat to latch. If you prefer, you can put washers between the seat pan and latch bracket to make this easier until the bumpers relax.

Hollywood Solo saddle gives a slick, low profile on the Raider while providing cruising comfort. Corbin’s Fibertech basepan provides a perfect, flowing fit along the tank and that beautiful chrome fender strut, but rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. Naturally, it’s built up with high density Comfort Cell foam to provide a firm, resilient ride despite the low profile. For passenger transport, we designed our seat to work with the OEM pillion.

Designed to visually augment the classic chopper lines of the Raider. While following the curves of the bike, our rigid basepan provides a solid foundation for the foam shape. Comfort Cell foam is engineered with an ergonomic shape that provides a greater area of body contact for better weight distribution. Sculpted shaping in the nose area assures you still have ground reach at stop signs.

Hollywood Solo comes standard with genuine leather seating and our tasteful stitch pattern. Leather seating is perfect for motorcycle saddles because it breathes with your body and will break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Leather is extremely durable while giving you the ultimate in luxury. Over time your saddle will age and develop a unique character just like your leather jacket and chaps do. If you care for it properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream, your leather saddle will be your riding buddy for many years.

Saddle mounts on your stock key lock system for simple installation. We include all mounting hardware premounted on the seat so it’s ready to go right out of the box. Just slide the rear of the seat into place in the stock fender bracket and lower it into the latch at the front.

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don’t telegraph through the foam to your body.

COMFORT CELL FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn’t break down. ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle’s foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.

GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste.

KEY LOCK INSTALLATION: This saddle model uses a new mounting system designed by Corbin to allow installation and removable with a simple key lock. Once the included brackets are installed, the saddle can be removed easily by just inserting and turning the key.
