An outstanding Classic style solo seat for the Vulcan S. Maximum rider comfort combined with classy looks. Provides for our removable backrest for over 13 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides touring quality comfort. Neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike.

Corbin’s removable rider backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your posture. Just slide the backrest shaft into the internal hardware of the Classic Solo and lock it in place with a single bolt. You can then set the backrest where you want it and lock it in place with the easily accessible adjustment screw… no need to remove the saddle. Choose from a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste although we recommend the #02-S Ovalbac for a balance of looks and support.

Classic solo saddle and backrest provide excellent support for riding while the shaping in the nose allows you to slide forward for ground reach at stop signs. Looks excellent with the bare fender or luggage rack providing a slick solo look.

We build this one to look sly, but use our high density Comfort Cell foam for a firm supportive ride. Dished shaping provides good contoured support and minimizes the tendency to slide in the saddle.

Choose from a range of leather styles and colors for a custom touch. Leather will provide a perch that breathes with your body and will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Be sure to care for your leather saddle with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. With proper care, your seat will age gracefully developing a unique character and will be your riding buddy for years.

To further customize the look of your bike, we can provide a variety of back plate options on our Ovalbac series backrests. Our standard back plate has a leather look or you choose from any of the styles listed below. We can even provide a backing plate that is prepainted gloss black for just a little extra or a chromed steel model. Ovalbac finishing plates change out easily with two screws and a little Locktite (or other thread lock compound).

If you’re looking to add a bit of convenient storage, the rear finishing plate can be replaced with the Corbin exclusive Glovebox. This adds four liters of locking storage that is perfect for maps, cell phones, bottled water and other small travel essentials. Comes fully lined and weather stripped to protect cargo. Available in plain black ABS or prepainted gloss black for a little extra.

New Backrest Hardware CoverThis saddle cover has been updated to use our new backrest hardware cover with the sliding door as shown here. To install the backrest, just slide the cover over to the side. When the backrest is not needed, just slide it closed. It doesn’t get easier than that!
